Pumpkin Spice Smoothie

This smoothie is my jam right now. I'm a huge fan of pumpkin and this smoothie kicks it up a notch with a pumpkin spice blend. It's on the sweeter side, but the sugars are all natural. This could also be used in place of dessert if you're craving a pumpkin-y treat.

The recipe serves two (my hubby loves this one, so I usually make for two). Cut the recipe in half for a solo portion.

  • 1 cup nut milk
  • 1 small orange
  • 1 small banana
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 2 tbs ground flaxseeds
  • 1 scoop of protein powder with greens (I like Orgain)
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice (you can sub with cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and ginger if you don't have the blend)
  • Dash sea salt
  • Handful ice

Put everything in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
