This smoothie is my jam right now. I'm a huge fan of pumpkin and this smoothie kicks it up a notch with a pumpkin spice blend. It's on the sweeter side, but the sugars are all natural. This could also be used in place of dessert if you're craving a pumpkin-y treat.
The recipe serves two (my hubby loves this one, so I usually make for two). Cut the recipe in half for a solo portion.
- 1 cup nut milk
- 1 small orange
- 1 small banana
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 2 tbs ground flaxseeds
- 1 scoop of protein powder with greens (I like Orgain)
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice (you can sub with cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and ginger if you don't have the blend)
- Dash sea salt
- Handful ice
Put everything in a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
